Recently, I got my hands on a pound of Spritzer by Cannassentials, which won first place in the open category for greenhouse-grown flower at the 2022 Oregon Grower’s Cup. One of the standout features of Spritzer is its aroma, which reminds me of sweet vermouth and Aperol Spritz with hints of lavender and lemon. The buds are light green with red stigmas and some darker green accents. They're light and fluffy, well-formed, and not too crowded. The trichomes are plentiful and encompass every square inch of the buds.
When it comes to the smoke and taste of Spritzer, it's all about the subtle hints of lavender and bread. The smoke is smooth and thick, and the overall taste is pleasant. It's easy to see why the Oregon Grower’s Cup judges awarded Spritzer first place in its category!
According to our Certificate of Authenticity, Spritzer strain was harvested on 11/18/22, and underwent a seven-week-long cure. The testing lab Chem History reported findings on 1/23/23, indicating that the total cannabinoids in the 2-gram blunt were 829.6 mg (41.48%) with THC making up 713.4 mg (35.67%) and CBD making up 2 mg. The terpene profile of the 2-gram blunt included δ-Limonene, β-Myrcene, Linalool, β-Caryophyllene, α-Farnesene, α-Humulene, β-Farnesene, (-)-β-Pinene, (-)-α-Bisabolol, α-Terpineol, α-Pinene, trans-Nerolidol, Endo-Fenchyl Alcohol, and Valencene.
Spritzer strain has a clear and elegant high, which, despite being very potent, is not overwhelming. The headspace is manageable and fun, and the cerebral high is enjoyable in the day or evening. I found Spritzer to have activity-enhancing effects, making it perfect for taking on adventures away from the couch.
The peak effects are clear-headed and non-anxiety-causing. Depending on your tolerance, you can enjoy Spritzer in heavy dose or lower dose sessions with a totally different outcome. The duration of the high is also quite impressive.

It also goes well with Aperol Spritz, Vermouth, club soda, and lemon peel. When it comes to lighting Spritzer or any blunt properly, it's best to use a hemp wick to avoid butane reacting with the terpenes in the buds. Start by lighting the hemp paper around the edge of the blunt in a circle, creating an even burn line. Once the circle burn line is established, hold the blunt to your lips and take small, quick inhales while giving the flame to the center.

All things considered, Spritzer by Cannassentials is a unique and interesting strain worth trying for any cannabis enthusiast. Its pleasant aroma of sweet vermouth, lavender, and lemon, light and fluffy buds, smooth smoke, and uplifting effects make it a hit for those who prefer a strong high or a less overwhelming daytime high.
